The Robertson Fire Protection District selected Pinnacle Contracting, Inc. for a $1.1 million renovation and expansion of Fire House #2 at 3820 Taussig Road in Bridgeton, Missouri. Pinnacle selected Rigid Global Buildings to provide the metal building material for the 8,200 square foot addition.
The addition consists of a second floor mezzanine that will host a training scenario room with movable wall panels, removable floor sections to simulate dangerous floor conditions and two exterior access doors for ladder and elevated space-entry training. Pinnacle is also adding two apparatus storage bays.
Collaborating on the project is O’Fallon, Ill.-based FGM Architects. In 2012, FGM and Pinnacle teamed to complete the Pattonville Fire House #1, also in Bridgeton.
The project was completed in November 2013.
