Pinnacle Contracting completed the 28,000 SF Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft project located at 6910 South Lindberg. The first phase of the project entailed working with the landlord, Pace Properties. The scope of work included removing the existing roof and installing a new EPDM roof, removing all of the old sprinkler lines and installing a new ones. Pinnacle also enhanced the facade by installing an EIFS face with a new store entrance. There was minimal site work but some asphalt patching and parking lot stripping.
The second phase of work was directly for the tenant, Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft. Pinnacle successfully bid this project and completed the transformation of the former Circuit City into Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts. Work included completely gutting the interior space to prepare for new drywall, flooring, paint, shelving, plumbing, electric, installation of an energy management system, roof hatch, toilet accessories, HVAC units, ductwork and more. In addition to working with local subcontractors, Jo-Ann Fabric required Pinnacle to use their national vendors for various material. Pinnacle coordinated and executed the work of all trades to ensure the store opened on time.
